How Whimsical Wreath Boutique Began

Welcome to Whimsical Wreath Boutique! My name is Linda Meyer, and I am happy to share my passion for making Wreaths and Deco Mesh Angels, and now Dream Catchers and Sun Catchers! It all started in early 2020 when I decided to decorate for Valentine's Day. I wanted a wreath to compliment my other decorations, and proceeded online to purchase one. Frankly, I was a taken aback by the prices. So, with the mindset of "how difficult can this be", I logged into YouTube to learn to make one on my own. After completing that first Valentine wreath, I couldn't wait to try a different type of wreath which led to another and another, and another! My search for different types of wreaths led me to Deco Mesh Angels, Dream Catchers and Sun Catchers. I thought they were so beautiful, and when I realized I could put a seasonal or holiday twist on them, they became part of my offerings. I absolutely enjoy making these pieces. If they make one person happy, I will consider this little venture successful.

Wreaths and Their Design

A wreath is not simply a circular design. There are starfish and anchor designs for Summer nautical themes, pumpkin and witch hat designs for Fall and Halloween, and candy cane and Santa hat designs for Christmas, just to name a few. The wonderful thing about making wreaths is the vast variety of shapes, sizes and materials that can be used. I like to make each wreath special and, therefore, most wreaths are one-of-a-kind. I am more than happy to duplicate a design provided I can procure the materials. I am also more than happy to create a custom design if you don't quite see what you're looking for.

At present, I am selling my pieces direct. All pieces shown on this website are available with the exception of the Wreaths shown in the "Gallery". Please check back often as new items are added frequently. If you are interested in any of the items shown on this website, please contact me directly via the "Contact Us" page. We deliver for free to Milwaukee, Waukesha, Washington, Ozaukee and Racine/Kenosha counties. If you live outside of these counties, or Wisconsin, I'm happy to work with you on cost effective shipping.
